Our Stories
are ours to Tell.
Do the stories playing in your head seem to control you rather than the other way around?
These stories are shaped by what we experience in life — our history, family, culture, religion, and expectations that write the story out for us before we get a say. Some are helpful; others have outstayed their welcome; some were never ours to carry in the first place.
But beneath these stories is another one — quieter, more tentative, but persistent. The one about who you want to be when the problem doesn't have the loudest voice in the room. That's the one I'm interested in helping you tell.
I'm Patrick, I'm committed to supporting people authoring their own lives through counselling conversations.
My approach to counselling is collaborative and guided by your experience. Rather than assuming problems are simply located within you, I’m interested in understanding the wider influences that may be shaping what you’re going through.
This might mean taking your life back from anxiety, depression, fear, grief, or addiction. It might also mean finding freedom from religious or cultural stories that have left you believing you are less than you are.
Bookings
A space to explore what’s shaping your experience—and what might be possible beyond it.
Our conversations will follow your lead, I will gently ask questions that explore the stories, voices, and expectations that have shaped how you see yourself. The aim isn't solely to blame these influences, but to notice them and create space and bring new possibilities into the open.

Common Stories I Hear
Our stories are often more similar to each others than we realise. These are a few of the common ones I hear, but you don’t need to fit neatly into any of these categories to reach out.
